Enjoy a scenic drive from Seattle to Greywolf Inn, Sequim, Washington. Nestled in a crescent of towering evergreens, Greywolf, a secluded country estate, sits atop five acres on the edge of Nature's playground; the ideal starting point for a soft adventure on the North Olympic Peninsula. Explore Hurricane Ridge, the Hoh Rain Forest, Pacific beaches and other delights of Olympic National Park. Hiking, fishing, boating, bird-watching and skiing are all nearby. Other area attractions include three year-round golf courses, a world-class casino and the ferry to Victoria, Canada.

Explore the charming village of Sequim. You'll find unique shops, museums, fine restaurants and a wonderful aquatic recreation center. The beautiful John Wayne Marina on Sequim Bay is a mere mile and a half walk, jog or bicycle ride from the Inn. Before returning to Greywolf, you can enjoy a snack or lunch at the small waterfront restaurant, shop for some nautical gifts, take a boat tour around Sequim Bay and Protection Island, rent a Kayak or sign up for a saltwater fishing or a whale watching adventure.

The Dungeness Scenic Loop will take you through pasture lands with fascinating old barns and snow-capped mountain views, and along the shoreline with views of Canada and the San Juans, to Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge. Here you can hike the longest natural sand spit in the country where you'll encounter shore birds, deer, sea lions, otters and, perhaps, a whale! A tour of the Dungeness Light House, the oldest in the northwest, is your reward for going the distance.

Rails to Trails: Little by little, we're connecting the communities of the North Olympic Peninsula with incredible ribbons of green! The route, which passes within a few hundred yards of Greywolf's doorstep, now stretches from Port Angeles' Ediz Hook all the way through Sequim, crossing four grand old railroad trestles along the way! Eventually, it will span the entire northern peninsula from Forks to Port Townsend. What a wonderful treasure for hikers, bikers, skaters and anyone else who enjoys the great outdoors!

For Wine Lovers: Did you realize that Washington has become award-winning wine country? In the summer, Washington gets two more hours of sunlight than California's prime growing region and it shares the same latitude as the Bordeaux region of France! Best of all, our wine country is only two hours from downtown Seattle. So you could wake up in the emerald City, hop in the car and be in the land of the grape in time for lunch! There are more than 200 wineries in Washington, several within a few miles of Greywolf Inn. So come spend a weekend, a few days, a week. Sample our local wines and incredible scenery. Both are first class! Wineryloop.com
